Marathon man

The London Symphony Orchestra and the Cricket Foundation are this year’s ‘Pitch Perfect’ Lord Mayor’s Appeal charities and provide musical and cricketing opportunities to young people in London’s most challenging boroughs.

In the run-up to the event Alderman Anstee has been training hard despite a heavy schedule of travel and work. He is the first ever Lord Mayor to compete in the marathon whilst in office and his daugthers, Jennifer and Megan, will be running the grueling 26-mile race with him.
